Evans will be hosting a guitar clinic at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, at Dr. Music, 481 N. State Road 434 (near the intersection of State Road 436) in Altamonte Springs. Evans, who endorses Samick/Greg Bennett Signature Guitars, will offer tips on acoustic and electric techniques, as well as bass instruction, in lessons aimed at beginners and advanced players. There also will be guitar and product giveaways. In addition to performing with his new band, MeriTaje, Evans has done more than 800 clinics in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico since 1998.
